Shop Details

Uppingham

Hey, at last we're in Uppingham!

So many customers ever since we opened in Oundle back in 2004 have been telling us we 'need' to open a Beans in Uppingham - but there's never been the right shop for us (we're only interested in location, location, location, plus character Grade 2 Listed properties).  Until Tammy, our Stamford manager, gave us a tip-off that Age Concern were looking to move from their existing premises in Uppingham - and the rest as they say is history!

This is an amazing building which is bursting full of character, and even has a lovely garden which we'll open up to customers by Spring '09 - development of this will be Uppingham V1.2!

So come along and enjoy the usual great Beans stuff in a beautiful town, right by the Market Place, with an amazing vista from the front window - just seat yourself on our stools at the oak window bars and watch the world going by! Or perhaps you'd prefer to sit further into the shop in our 'Crypt', which is a lovely relaxing room with beautiful old oak beams and a reed and plaster wall – we’re talking medieval here!

Anyway, we’ll leave the rest of the shop details for you to discover, but rest assured you’ll enjoy a visit to the town and Uppingham Beans!

But as to Rutland?  Where exectly is it you might ask, well it's squashed in between Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, with Cambridgeshire just a conker's throw away. And it's England's smallest mainland County. For more info about Rutland see:

There, now you know all about Rutland don't you?!  And you can see why we want to have some of our shops in this most beautiful part of the country. Come along to see us and you'll see why everyone loves living and working here.

Beans. The Best Coffee, in the Best Buildings, in the Best Locations.
